Abstract (English): | This paper takes up case studies from history of education that refer to the function of textbooks and to the protagonists responsible for their production and publication. It deals with educational and political controversies around two textbooks, which ended with a different outcome. In both examples there appears a paradox of curricular and extracurricular claims in regard to textbooks, which calls for a prioritization of functions and for a decision with respect to interpretative authority. |
