Abstract (English):This article discusses the main trends of internationalization in Finnish higher education at the national level and analyzes the International Degree Programs (IDPs) at the institutional level. The article focuses on challenges of international student integration into the Finnish society and the tuition pilot program for international degree students. Empirically this study is based on the evaluation of IDPs organized by the Finnish Higher Education Evaluation Council and the dissertation of Leasa Weimer on tuition fees for international students in Finland.
