| Abstract (German): | Aufgrund der Globalisierung der Märkte ist es möglich, das ganze Jahr über Obst und Gemüse aller Art zu kaufen. Doch wissen Kinder, welches Obst und Gemüse in der Region zu welcher Zeit wächst? Die Ergebnisse einer Untersuchung zeigen, dass Kinder der vierten Jahrgangsstufe zweier Grundschulen in Baden-Württemberg Kenntnisse zur Regionalität und Saisonalität von Obst und Gemüse haben. | Abstract (English): | The globalization of markets makes it possible to purchase a variety of fruits and vegetables throughout the year. But do children know which fruit or vegetables are grown in the region and when it is in season? The results of the study showed that all fourth-grade pupils of the two elementary schools in Baden-Württemberg are aware of the regional and seasonal characteristics of fruits and vegetables.
