| Abstract (German): | Die Entwicklung der Berufserziehung in Deutschland ist eng mit der politischen Geschichte verknüpft. Die deutsche Revolution 1918/19 prägte die Form der technischen „Nachwuchspflege" über die Weimarer Republik und den Nationalsozialismus hinaus, bis in die heutige Zeit hinein. Von dieser politischen Zäsur zehrte die „neue Berufsschule" ebenso wie die „planmäßige Industrielehre". Vor dem Hintergrund einer asymmetrischen Reform der Lernorte Schule und Betrieb wird im folgenden der Weg der Fortbildungsschule zur Berufsschule und die Modernisierung der Lehrlingsausbildung in der ersten Republik dargestellt. | Abstract (English): | The development of vocational education in Germany is closely linked with the country’s political history. The German revolution of 1918/19 shaped technical training of new recruits beyond the Weimar Republic and National Socialism, well into the present. This turning point in the political development had an impact on both the "new vocational school" and "regular industrial apprenticeship". Against the background of an asymmetrical reform of the learning environments school and enterprise, the author sketches the path from an extension of elementary education to the vocational school and the modernization of apprenticeship in the First Republic.
