(DIPF/Orig.) |
Abstract (English): | At school, within the context of programmatic equality, boys require everyday social intercourse with girls in order to school themselves in behavioral patterns of domination and to achieve partial superiority in performance. This critical hypothesis concerning „natural” coeducation is supported by the fact that in the fields of mathematics and natural sciences both at school (in the higher grades) and at university, male students prevail. Furthermore, the results of studies conducted in North Rhine-Westphalia show that the majority of women studying chemistry and informatics attended girl's schools. These results are discussed or rather, questioned on the basis of educational and sociological research. (DIPF/Orig.) |
