Abstract (English):The authors present "reflections" about the process and the consequences of the educational reforms after German unification; they make clear that education in West Germany has "not been unaffected" by these changes: "Although structural and curricular issues had been handled quite smoothly in the late 1970s and 1980s, there are already signs that this 'stability' is eroding in West Germany, with calls for an all- German system operating as a stimulus for change." The authors regard changes in primary, general secondary, vocational and higher education, and the financial contexts of the reform. (DIPF/Bi.)
