(DIPF/Orig.) |
Abstract (English): | This article examines the way in which research is conducted on the processes of media education and discusses a qualitative research design that the author has developed as part of his graduate thesis. The article takes a transformative understanding of education in connection with the theories of social practices to show how the processes of media education can be identified as transformations of habitus and reconstructed using the documentary method. In addition to biographical-narrative interviews, media artifacts provide the basis for exploring the processes of media education. The author also details the individual steps taken in the research process and discusses its underlying methodological considerations. (DIPF/Orig.) |
