Abstract (English):Grade-specific pedagogy enables the justification and reflection of an appropriate selection of contents, methods, and media. These guide the design of learning situations that are aimed at stimulating and supporting the students’ learning processes. Primary-school children’s learning is influenced to a large extent by developmental constraints and naive conceptions. Regarding these limitations as basic conditions for learning provides a starting point for discussing domain-general perspectives on pedagogy in primary school and for relating them to the domain specificity of the subjects in primary school.
