Abstract (English): | This essay discusses the contradictory phenomenon of the present world society namely the fact that intercultural understanding, readiness to mutual learning and transcultural communication are hampered instead of being fostered by the power of cosmopolitan cultural patterns and international educational systems. The causes are analysed under three aspects: 1. Transcultural communication and the dominance of the economically, technically and scientifically leading societies; 2. Transcultural communication as a professional occupation within international or multi-national organizations; 3. Transcultural communication as discovery of the richness of cultural achievement from different social groups and as witness to the creative potentialities of societies. The essay is understood as a step to build up a comparative social and educational science, which tries to overcome the supposedly universality of eurocentric approaches commonly in use. Abstract (French): | L'auteur examine dans cet article un phénomène contradictoire de l'actuelle société internationale, à savoir, le fait que la compréhension interculturelle, l'ouverture pour apprendre mutuellement sont atrophiées au lieu d'être développées à cause du pouvoir des modèles culturels cosmopolites et du système d'éducation internationale. Les causes sont analysées sous trois aspects: 1. Communication transculturelle et la domination des sociétés économiquement, techniquement et scientifiquement avancées; 2. Communication transculturelle come une occupation professionelle au sein des organisations internationales et multinationales; 3. Communication transculturelle comme découverte des richesses de l'apport culturel de tous les groupes sociaux et comme témoignage des potencialités créatrices des peuples. Cette contribution veut être un pas pour fonder une science sociale et éducative comparée qui met en doute la soi-disante universalité des approches eurocentriques. (DIPF/Orig.) |
