(DIPF/Orig.)
Abstract (English):"The article starts with highlighting the fact that, against the background of the guiding principle of inclusion and the professional handling of heterogeneity, diagnostics is considered a central field of early childhood educational. Nevertheless, there is no uniform concept of pedagogical diagnostics in early childhood education, because the discussion about instruments of pedagogical diagnostics is often normative and polarizing. This makes it more difficult to overcome the ""either-or"" and to establish a ""as well as"" approach. In addition, there is a field of tension between science and practice: Since instruments of Pedagogical Diagnostics are often products of science, they undergo a transformation in the process of their use in practice, which is why Pedagogical Diagnostics is described as a transfer challenge. In order to meet this challenge adequately, a joint negotiation process between scientific demands and pragmatics of practical application seems necessary. Furthermore, the educational administration or policy makers often act as a third party in the form of the customer. Such a constellation leads to new dynamics and power constellations. Based on these challenges, this article examines how pedagogical diagnostics can successfully use the potential for professionalisation of pedagogical staff. The author concludes that this is the case when science provides support in dealing with ""real"" problems in the field of practice."
