Abstract (German): | Der indische Nobelpreisträger Rabindranath Tagore ist im Westen - wenn überhaupt - nur als Dichter und Philosoph bekannt. Seine Fähigkeiten als Künstler und Pädagoge haben dahingegen bisher kaum Verbreitung gefunden. Im folgenden Aufsatz wird der zweite Aspekt auf dem Hintergrund der Biographie von Tagore entwickelt und nach den Perspektiven der von ihm initiierten Anti-Institution im heutigen Indien gefragt.
