| Abstract (German): | Die Autorin macht den raumtheoretischen Ansatz von Martina Löw für die erziehungswissenschaftliche Diskussion und Fragestellung nutzbar. Die Vermittlung von Löws Ansatz zwischen ontologisierenden und konstruktivistischen Perspektiven dient ihr als Ausgangspunkt "lokale Bildungsräume" - also z.B. lokale Schulangebote, regionale Bildungslandschaften, die Einteilung von Schulbezirken und die Verteilung der Schülerinnen und Schüler - analytisch zugänglich zu machen. Damit legt sie ein Konzept vor, das sowohl Selektions- und Wahlentscheidungen als auch Konkurrenz- und Kooperationsbeziehungen zwischen Schulen und Bildungsangeboten in den Blick zu nehmen vermag. | Abstract (English): | This article is an attempt to harness the spatial theory of Martina Löw for the discussion and research in education science. It bases on the observation of contradictories between the ontologized usage of spatial heuristics (for example concerning the question of regional inequalities in education) and the current theories of space, which focus more on a constructivist perspective. Martina Löw's concept undertakes a theoretical connection between these contradictory positions, because now "local spaces of education" can be observed both, concerning the structuring by space and the construction of space.
