Abstract (German):Was ist „Erziehungsberatung", was ist ihr Gegenstand und in welchem Rahmen lässt er sich behandeln? (DIPF/ Orig.)
Abstract (English):What is educational guidance, what is its subject and within which therapeutical framework can it be treated. These questions are examined concerning their relevancy for therapeutical action in the educational guidance institute and they form the basis of the IEKT model. In consequence it is stated that educational guidance gains relevancy primarily in the treatment of the educational process. Educational guidance is a therapeutical offer to the child and its parents which is more than just psychotherapy of the child and/or guidance respectively therapy of the parents. The educational guidance takes place within the therapeutical relations towards the child and its parents it includes the provision and the application of appropriate therapeutical means and methods within a framework beneficial for the alteration in the educational process. The IEKT model intends at the same time to be frame and method of treatment of an educational guidance along these lines. It creates conditions for the arrangement of the treatment and the application of therapeutical methods with partially new functions. (DIPF/ Orig.)
