(DIPF/Orig.) |
Abstract (English): | So far, the debate on PISA 2000 has been dominated by comparisons of the ranks achieved and by the question of the consequences to be drawn from the results, - a question usually answered by referring to the need for structural-organizational reforms in the school and preschool system. Following the theses that a) the PISA test-conception is based on a functionalist approach to “education as competence” and b) that the OECD aims, with PISA, at a more pronounced orientation of institutionalized education by social and economic needs, the author discusses the educational concept forming the basis for the investigation as well as the question of what the OECD aims at with PISA,- aspects which have so far received but comparatively little attention. Furthermore, he looks at possible long-term effects of PISA on the school and on instruction. (DIPF/Orig.) |
