Abstract (German): | Bangladesch gehört zu den sogenannten E-9 Staaten, in denen die meisten Analphabeten in absoluten Zahlen leben. Am Beispiel von Bangladesch zeigt der Autor, welche Ursachen dieser Tatsache zugrunde liegen. An der Struktur des kolonialen Bildungssystems hat sich wenig geändert. Damit verbunden ist die Vernachlässigung der Grundschulen. (DIPF/Orig.) |
Abstract (English): | Bangladesh belongs to the so-called E-9 states, where most of the illiterates live. The example of Bangladesh illustrates the root-causes of the misery. The colonial structure of the Education system is still almost intact. The result is, that the primary level is the most neglected stage in the Education system of Bangladesh. (DIPF/Orig.) |
