Abstract (English):Research on primary schooling and comparative educational science - thus the author's guiding thesis - have been coupled rather late and mostly in the form of a reciprocal affirmation of a practice-oriented type of reflection defined primarily politically and pedagogically. On the one hand, this thesis is elaborated systematically, on the other, it is exemplified by comparative research on primary schooling oriented by the English primary school system. However, we are still left with the desideratum of an intercultural comparative research on primary schooling which - besides providing guidance for educational policy and teaching - also meets the expectations of a more distanced theoretical analysis.
