(DIPF/Orig.)
Abstract (English):Decrees to further autonomous school development in some of the German Laender are based on the assumption that, thus, an approximation to the ideal construct of the "good school" is made possible via a liberation of the institution from administrative control. In the smallest federal state, Bremen, this decree to develop the school is promoted with the help of the institutional school development program. In the current scientific debate, in which organization-theoretical perspectives dominate, both the historical reform-pedagogical precursors of the debate on autonomy and historical examples of the autonomous school are largely ignored. However, reform- pedagogical impulses assert themselves spontaneously and can be dealt with by reflecting historical argumentative patterns. (DIPF/Orig.)
