(DIPF/Orig.)
Abstract (English):In the following paper an empirical study of individual knowledge structures and their modifications is presented. Learners listened to a lesson of the educational radio broadcasts on „Modern Art". The knowledge structures of these learners and the modifications within their structures (during the reception) were described comprehensively and in detail, looking at it from a qualitative and a quantitative point of view. As an instrument for the diagnosis of individual declarative knowledge we used a modified version of the Heidelberger-Struktur-Lege-Technik (SLT). The application of the SLT provided networks of related concepts with predefined links. The individually reconstructed knowledge structures were compared with different reference structures regarding size, degree of interrelation and complexity. The investigation led to two main results: As expected, a significant increase in the amount of knowledge of the learners could be observed. Contrary to the theoretical expectations however, no effect of prior knowledge could be found. Processes of knowledge acquisition and knowledge transformation were elucidated for several participants in the investigation. (DIPF/Orig.)
