(DIPF/Orig.) |
Abstract (English): | Developmental and pedagogical research give little answer to questions about the adolescents' and young adults' understanding of development. Knowledge about the conceptualization in this domain is relevant, because 'change' constitutes a point of issue in the thinking and experience of adolescents. Further on the individual's logic of change is an important component within the regulation of action. The methods and data reported come from three studies which analyze the individual perspectives about developmental dimensions and compare change related positions and preferences between groups. The results reveal both, similarities and differences between developmental theories and the adolescents' concepts of change. The different ways of reasoning about development indicate themes which are significant for better understanding the individuals' logics about developmental change. (DIPF/Orig.) |
