(DIPF/Orig.)
Abstract (English):Whereas British orchestras and musicians have witnessed a long tradition of arts projects in schools, in Germany these kinds of classroom activities in cooperation with artists have developed rapidly only during the last five years. This explorative study aims at looking at the specific factors that constitute such projects by interviewing a sample of different experts in that field, in order to establish an exemplary model for similar future projects. The nine guided interviews were lead with teachers, composers, musicians and university professors from different parts of Germany. All of the interviewees are renowned personalities with abundant expert knowledge of arts projects. The audio material was recorded and transcribed using f4 and MAXQDA: all texts were completely coded using open coding and in-vivo codes. At the end of the analyzing process, all codes were grouped into four main categories. These categories were identified as framework and processes of art projects, their legitimation for education and as the experts’ suggestions for the promotion of quality. A closer look at the experts’ statements regarding the parameters/frameworks leads to seven pivotal factors for a model regarding the organizational framework of school projects with composers and musicians teaching in teams. These factors were identified as time, finances, cooperation, organization, building of teams, public sphere and Meta communication. (DIPF/Orig.)
