Abstract (German):Der [Autor], ehemaliger österreichische Vizekanzler und Bildungsminister, erläutert die Entstehung und Arbeitsweise der EU-Donauraumstrategie (EUSDR) sowie ihre Bedeutung als Paradigma für den europäischen Integrationsprozess. Die Donau ist ein bedeutender geopolitischer "Ort" der Migration und Identität und erhält eine herausragende Rolle als Referenzpunkt für gesellschaftliche Entwicklungen. (DIPF/Orig.)
Abstract (English):The former Austrian vice chancellor and education minister, Erhard Busek, explains the origin and functioning of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) as well as its importance as a paradigm for the European process of integration.
