| Abstract (German): | Der Beitrag befaßt sich mit räumlichen Idealisierungen der Erziehungstheorie. Die Orte der Pädagogik sind funktional zum Anspruch der Theorie zu sehen. Alle Wirkungserwartungen hängen von Raumprogrammen ab, insbesondere die Idee einer einheitlichen Erziehung, die für alle in Frage kommenden Personen identische Effekte erzielt. Von einem Erziehungsstaat kann daher nur bei geschlossenen, kontrollierbaren und pädagogisch aufgeladenen Räumen die Rede sein. Solche Raumphantasien setzt die gesellschaftliche Differenzierung der Moderne faktisch außer Kraft, ohne ihre illusionäre Kraft bislang verloren zu haben. Utopie ist daher in der Erziehungserwartung ein bestimmt-unbestimmter Ort, den es faktisch nicht geben kann. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | The article focusses on spatial idealizations in educational theory. The loci of pedagogics have to be considered functionally dependent on theoretical claims. All expectations as to the effects of education depend on spatial programs, especially the concept of a uniform education which achieves identical effects with all eligible persons. Thus, we can only speak of an educational state when dealing with closed, controllable, and pedagogically charged spaces. The societal differentiation of modern times virtually nullifies such spatial phantasies without having, as yet, questioned their illusionary power. In the expectations as to the effects of education utopia thus takes a definitive-undefined place the existence of which is in fact impossible. (DIPF/Orig.) |
