| Abstract (Deutsch): | Ausgehend von Klaus Mollenhauers Aufsatz "Ästhetische Bildung zwischen Kritik und Selbstgewißheit" (Z.f.Päd. 1990) wird die Frage erörtert, ob ästhetische Bildung möglich ist. In Auseinandersetzung mit Schiller, Adorno, Benjamin, v. Hentig u. a. wird die Behauptung zurückgewiesen, daß Bildung nur noch unter der Kategorie der Differenz möglich sei. Mollenhauer bezweifelt die Vereinbarkeit des Anliegens ästhetischer Erziehung, nämlich der Selbsterfahrung der Differenz mit den Ansprüchen der modernen Bildungstheorie. Der Artikel zeigt auf, daß Mollenhauers Verzicht auf den universellen Anspruch von Bildungstheorie vermeidbar ist. (DIPF/Text übernommen) |
| Abstract (Englisch): | Proceeding from Klaus Mollenhauer's essay "Aesthetic Education Between Critique and Self- Certainty" (Z.f.Päd. 1990), the authors discuss the question whether aesthetic education is in fact possible. Drawing on Schiller, Adorno, Benjamin, von Hentig, and others, they repudiate the assertion that education (Bildung) is possible only under the category of difference. Mollenhauer questions the compatibility of the objective of aesthetic education, i.e., the self-experience of difference, with the demands of a modern theory of education. It is shown that Mollenhauer's renunciation of the universalistic claim of educational theory may be avoided. (DIPF/Orig.) |
