| Abstract (Deutsch): | Da „[a]lles Neue (...) nach dem Maßstab des Alten beurteilt“ (Zirden 2005, S. 12) wird, ist mit Lyotard zu vermuten, dass das Neue automatisch ins Unrecht gesetzt wird, da es einem anderen Diskursuniversum angehört als das alte (vgl. Lyotard 1989). Doch wie vollzieht sich ein Akt der Abwehr des Neuen? Mittels welcher Praxen und Strategien wird das Neue befriedet? Und welche Motive könnten dafür leitend sein? Diesen Fragen geht der Essay am Beispiel der Replik von Kabel (2021) en détail nach und rekonstruiert rhetorische Figuren der Abwehr des Neuen. Abschließend wirft der Beitrag die Frage nach dem Verhältnis von wissenschaftlich Neuen und legitimen Formen wissenschaftlicher Kritik auf. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (Englisch): | Since "[a]ll new things (...) are judged according to the standard of the old" (Zirden 2005, p. 12 [translation from German]), it can be assumed with Lyotard that the new is automatically put in the wrong, since it belongs to a different universe of discourse than the old (cf. Lyotard 1989). But how does an act of defense against the new take place? What practices and strategies are used to pacify the new? And what motives could guide this? The essay explores these questions in detail using the example of Kabel's replica (2021) and reconstructs rhetorical figures of the defense against the new. Finally, the article raises the question of the relationship between scientific novelty and legitimate forms of scientific criticism. The (re)replica reconstructs Kabel's replica (2021) with the analytical instruments of objective hermeneutics and Lyotard's discourse analysis. It will become clear that the criticism formulated by the replica does not bear on the matter, but rather, out of presumably university-political motives, operates a defense against the new and seeks to exclude an easy-to-apply practice-reflection model of pedagogical practice from the school-pedagogical discourse space, which, on top of that, follows the line of argumentation of the essay on the "technology deficit" by Luhmann and Schorr (1982). In light of this analysis, the (re)replication asks about the relationship between scientific novelty and forms of scientific critique. (DIPF/Orig.) |
