| Abstract (German): | Grenzüberschreitungen verweisen auf eine nicht mehr umkehrbare weltgesellschaftliche Metamorphose, deren Anerkennung noch in weiter Ferne zu liegen scheint. Dies ist insbesondere für die Erwachsenenbildung relevant, wenn sie ihre gesellschaftliche Reflexionsfunktion ernst nimmt. Die Resonanz auf migratorische Mobilität in einem weltgesellschaftlichen Rahmen ermöglicht es, das Potenzial und die Dynamik der Umbruchsituation produktiv zur Entfaltung zu bringen. In diesem Sinne schlägt der Beitrag eine alternative Perspektive auf Erwachsenenbildung in der Migrationsgesellschaft vor, die ihren Fokus auf die Überwindung des "methodologischen Nationalismus" richtet. Der Abschied von nationalstaatlichem Denken erscheint dabei für das bisherige Verständnis in der Erwachsenenbildung von Migration erheblich zu sein, wofür der Beitrag zu sensibilisieren versucht. | Abstract (English): | The crossing of borders indicates an irreversible metamorphosis of global society whose acceptance still seems to be a long way away. This is particularly relevant for adult education if it takes its function as a reflection of society seriously. The response to migratory mobility in the context of a global society makes it possible to develop the potential and dynamic of this situation of upheaval in a productive manner. With this in mind, the article suggests an alternative perspective on adult education in the migration society that focuses on overcoming “methodological nationalism”. Saying goodbye to thinking in terms of nation-state — for which the article attempts to raise awareness — appears to be significant to the previous understanding of migration in adult education.
