| Abstract (German): | Statt eines optimistischen Begriffs von Bewegung als Bildung wird die These eines ambivalenten Bewegungsbegriffs vertreten, der sowohl die Unterwerfung und Anpassung der Körper beinhaltet als auch die zum Teil nur minimalen Spuren seiner Unverfügbarkeit. Theoretisch werden die soziale Formiertheit der Körper und gleichzeitig die Spielräume des Verhaltens diskutiert. Empirisch wird dies an Fotografien aus der oppositionellen Frauen-Friedensbewegung der DDR in den 1980er Jahren erörtert. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | Instead of following a purely optimistic notion of movement as education, this article supports an ambivalent conception of body and motion that is based on the idea that bodies can be subjugated, adapted and still maintain traces of unavailability. The underlying theoretical approach of the social formation of bodies and the possibilities of behaviour are discussed. Photographs that show the oppositional GDR women's peace movement in the 1980s are empirically analysed. (DIPF/Orig.) |
