Abstract (English):In two secondary school third forms (thirteen-year-olds) the extent of a "positive affective response" was compared using a measuring instrument constructed specifically for this experiment. Educational aim and criterion of comparison was the assessment of a piece of music ("Der Erlkönig" by Franz Schubert), which was introduced by means of verbal explanation in one class, and by additional action-orientated teaching methods in the other. The action-orientated procedure was proved by comparison to be more effective with regard to the achievement of affective learning objectives. (DIPF/Orig.)
