So lautet die erste Eintragung in das Gästebuch, das während der 100 Tage documenta 8 vom 12. Juni bis 20. September 1987 in der Kasseler Karlskirche auslag. Sie stammt von John Cage selbst. Insgesamt wurde diese Klanginstallation von über 70.000 Menschen besucht. Das Gästebuch verzeichnet 1.041 Eintragungen in Form von Unterschriften, Namens- und Adresseneintragungen, Kommentaren, Gedichten, Zeichnungen, gelegentlich auch Noten und Visitenkarten.
