| Abstract (German): | Mit wachsenden An- und Herausforderungen an die Lehrerinnen- und Lehrerbildung müssen sich Pädagogische Hochschulen fortlaufend weiterentwickeln. Zentrale Erfordernisse sind die adäquate (Weiter-)Qualifizierung des Lehr-und Forschungskörpers, die kontinuierliche Qualitätserhöhung der Leistungsbereiche sowie die Profilschärfung des Hochschultypus. Der Auf- und Ausbau von Angeboten im dritten Zyklus ist dabei von hoher Bedeutung. Nebst seiner Notwendigkeit und Chancen stellt der dritte Zyklus Pädagogische Hochschulen vor besondere Herausforderungen. Dieser Beitrag beleuchtet die Entwicklungsfelder hinsichtlich der Bedeutung des dritten Zyklus und damit verbundene Promotionsmöglichkeiten. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | With growing demands and challenges for teacher education, universities of teacher education need to develop continuously. Central requirements include adequate (further) qualification of the academic staff, continuous quality improvement in the service areas, and the shaping of the institutional profile. The establishment of institutional doctoral programmes is of great importance in this regard. In addition to the necessity and the opportunities of doctoral programmes, their implementation poses specific challenges to Swiss universities of teacher education. This article sheds light on the development areas regarding the significance of doctoral programmes and related institutionalised opportunities. (DIPF/Orig.) |
