| Abstract (German): | Neben Schule ist die Kinder- und Jugendhilfe die zweite große, öffentlich verantwortete Bildungsinstitution. Ihr Kernauftrag besteht in der Verbesserung der Lebensbedingungen von Kindern und Jugendlichen. Da diese einen wachsenden Anteil ihres Alltags in der Schule verbringen und der Schulerfolg maßgeblich über die subjektiven Lebenschancen entscheidet, muss Kinder- und Jugendhilfe künftig systembezogen und lokal vernetzt mit Schule kooperieren. | Abstract (English): | Besides schools, youth welfare service is the second large public educational institution. Its main duty is improving the living conditions of children and adolescents. These spend the bigger part of their everyday life in school, and success in school is decisive for the subjective opportunities in life. Hence, youth welfare service will have to cooperate with schools in local networks in the future. (DIPF/Orig.) |
