| Abstract (German): | Für den Nationalen Bildungsbericht haben seine Herausgeber, KMK und BMBF, einen zweijährigen Turnus vorgesehen. Plangemäß erschien so die zweite Ausgabe zum Juni 2008. Der folgende Beitrag widmet sich der Beschreibung seiner Inhalte - insbesondere im Vergleich zur ersten Edition. Auch wenn mit zwei Berichten noch keine wirkliche Serie vorliegt, werden die Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede der Berichte zum Anlass genommen, stabile und variable Elemente des Konzepts von Bildungsberichterstattung in Deutschland zu diskutieren. | Abstract (English): | As a result of the decision made by the ministries of education on the state and federal levels, a new edition of the national report on education in Germany is to be published biennially. This has happened now for the second time in the year 2008. This article describes the content of the new report, especially in comparison to the previous one. Though two reports hardly constitute an established series, this article takes the similarities and differences of the reports as an occasion to discuss stable and variable aspects of educational reporting in Germany.
