| Abstract (German): | In unserer Gesellschaft sind Bildungschancen in hohem Maße von der sozialen Herkunft abhängig. Eine kleinräumige Bildungsberichterstattung bringt Daten zur Sozialstruktur von Stadtgebieten mit Schuldaten in Verbindung und zeigt [am Beispiel des Ruhrgebiets], dass sich Bildungschancen systematisch entlang sozialer und sozialräumlicher Ungleichheit verteilen. In den Städten spiegelt sich die Segregation der Bevölkerung in einer räumlichen Bildungsdisparität wider. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | Educational chances are highly dependent on the social descent. But only in a geographically restricted area and with the help of a geographic information system useful data are gained. It can be shown, that the social structure of an urban area and statistical data of single schools stand in a close relation. Social disparities become clearer. (DIPF/Orig.) |
