| Abstract (German): | Die neueren Familien- und Jugendstudien haben deutlich gemacht, wie sehr sich die sozialen und familialen Bedingungen des Aufwachsens sowie die privaten und beruflichen Lebensperspektiven der heutigen Jugendlichen verändert haben. Zum anderen sind die Qualifikationsanforderungen der Berufswelt anspruchsvoller geworden. Dies wirft die Frage auf, ob sich das Bildungswesen dieser Herausforderung stellen kann, wenn sie nur die einzelne Schule in den Blick nimmt. In dieser Situation sollte die Gesamtschule ihr Profil mehr denn je selbstbewusst (weiter-)entwickeln und ihre Möglichkeiten deutlich(er) herausstellen. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | On the one hand the new family and youth studies have demonstrated how much the social and familial conditions of growing up as well as the private and vocational perspectives of today's young people have changed. On the other hand, the qualifications demanded by the the labor market have increased significantly. This raises the question whether and how the education system can adjust to these challenges if it only looks at individual schools. In this situation the comprehensive school schould develop its profile more assertively and emphasize its strenghts more determinedly. (DIPF/Orig.) |
