| Abstract (German): | "Jugendliche in erschwerten Lebenslagen brauchen mehr als thematisch und zeitlich begrenzte Angebote der professionellen Pädagogik. Ehrenamtliche Mentoren können vielfältige Prozesse in Gang bringen. Dies hilft den Jugendlichen unmittelbar, es wirkt aber auch auf das Verhältnis der Generationen, die Situation im Gemeinwesen und die Weiterentwicklung von Schule und Sozialarbeit. Allerdings müssen bestimmte Standards der Qualifizierung und der Begleitung der Mentoren gewährleistet sein." Einige der Mindeststandards werden am Ende des Beitrags dargestellt. (DIPF/Sch.) |
| Abstract (English): | Youth in difficult life situations needs more than thematically and temporally limited pedagogical support. Voluntary mentors can initiate mutltiple processes. Not only does this directly help young people, it also influences the relation of the generations, the situation of the community, and furthers the development of schools and social work. However, certain standards of qualification of the mentors have to be observed. (DIPF/Orig.) |
