| Abstract (French): | Dans le cadre de cette contribution, notre ambition est de produire une analyse de la structuration des formations pour les enseignant·e·s d’éducation physique dans le cadre des décennies qui vont précéder la mise en place des Hautes Écoles Pédagogiques, entre les premières dynamiques d’universitarisation des sciences du sport et une sportivisation s’accélérant, dans un cadre politique singulier, avec une branche – l’éducation physique - dont une partie de la gouvernance est fédérale, dans un pays où l’école est cantonale. La temporalité de notre enquête démarre en 1972 avec la mise en application de la première Loi fédérale encourageant la gymnastique et les sports et s’étend jusqu’à l’orée des années 2000, autour de l’entrée en vigueur de la Loi fédérale sur les hautes écoles spécialisées (HES). | Abstract (English): | With this contribution, our ambition is to produce an analysis of the structuration process of initial training for physical education teachers in the decades preceding the establishment of the universities of teacher education, between the first dynamics of the sport sciences’ universitarisation and an accelerating sportivisation, in a singular political framework, with a school branch - physical education - whose governance is partly federal, in a country where schools are cantonal. The timeframe of our investigation starts in 1972 with the implementation of the first federal law supporting gymnastics and sport and extends to the beginning of the 2000s, around the entry into force of the federal law on universities of applied sciences.
