| Abstract (German): | Das Programm „Ein Quadratkilometer Bildung“ setzt auf kleinräumige, lokale Bildungsnetzwerke, um die Bildungschancen von Kindern und Jugendlichen in Sozialräumen zu erhöhen, in denen überproportional viele Familien von Armut betroffen sind. Mithilfe eines stadtteilbezogenen Unterstützungssystems, der sog. Pädagogischen Werkstatt, setzen Akteur*innen der formalen, non-formalen und informellen Bildung Schwerpunktthemen und entwickeln gemeinsam vor Ort bedarfsgerechte Praxislösungen. Der Beitrag stellt den Handlungsansatz des Programms vor, skizziert Entwicklungen unterschiedlicher Programmorte und bündelt abschließend Erkenntnisse zu möglichen Wirkungen des Programms. | Abstract (English): | The program “One Square Kilometer of Education” relies on small-scale, local educational networks to increase the educational opportunities of children and young people in social areas in which a disproportionate number of families are affected by poverty. With the help of a district-based support system, the so-called Pedagogical Workshop, actors from formal, non-formal and informal educational institutions determine key topics and jointly develop practical solutions tailored to local needs. The article presents the program’s approach, outlines developments in various program locations, and concludes by summarizing findings on the program’s potential effects. (DIPF/Orig.) |
