| Abstract (German): | Die deutschen parteinahen politischen Stiftungen sind öffentlich geförderte Akteure der politischen Bildung und Demokratieförderung in Deutschland wie auch in ihren Zweigstellen im Ausland. Obwohl sie ein globales Netzwerk bilden und grenzüberschreitend einen gewissen Arbeitsmarkt in der Bildung bieten, werden sie in der Bildungsforschung kaum wahrgenommen. Ihre politische Bildung besteht einerseits aus Information und non-formalen Bildungsangeboten zu politischen Themen, andererseits ist sie aufgrund der engen Parteizugehörigkeit der Stiftungen selbst politisch. Wie sich diese Doppeldeutigkeit politischer Bildung in der Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung und der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Mexiko manifestiert, untersucht der Artikel anhand einer Inhaltsanalyse aller ihrer Programme im Jahr 2012. | Abstract (English): | The German party-related political foundations are publicly funded actors of civic education and democracy promotion in Germany as well as in their branches overseas. They are rarely noticed by education research, even though they form a global network and offer a certain job market in education across borders. Their political education consists of information and non-formal education about political themes on the one hand, and it is political in itself due to the foundations’ close party affiliations on the other hand. The article explores how this double meaning of political education is manifested in the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Mexico by means of a content analysis of all their programs in the year 2012.
