| Abstract (German): | Einer der Streitpunkte in der Diskussion um die freie Schulwahl betrifft das Problem der Chancengleichheit oder Bildungsgerechtigkeit: Kann durch die Einführung von Wahl-Modellen die soziale Ungleichheit im Bildungssystem abgemildert werden oder wird sie dadurch eher noch verschärft? Ziel dieses Beitrags, welcher an aktuelle Debatten in der angelsächsischen Moral- und Erziehungsphilosophie anschließt, ist nicht die Beantwortung der genannten Frage, sondern die Analyse des vorliegenden Dissenses. Untersucht wird insbesondere die Rolle normativer Prinzipien und empirischer Annahmen bei dessen Zustandekommen. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | One of the controversial points in the debate on schools choice is the problem of educational justice. Does the introduction of choice schemes decrease or increase social inequality within the education system? The objective of this contribution, which leads on from current debates in Anglo-Saxon moral and educational philosophy, is not to answer this question, but to analyze the apparent dissent. The role of normative principles and empirical assumptions on the situation will be investigated.(DIPF/Orig.) |
