| Abstract (German): | In der Debatte über "Schulautonomie" spielt die Frage nach den pädagogischen und administrativen Auswirkungen der Budgetierung eine wichtige Rolle. In England wurde bereits 1988 mit dem Education Reform Act die dezentrale Schulverwaltung eingeführt und dabei den Schulen die Finanzautonomie übertragen. Die dort inzwischen vorliegenden Erfahrungen werden in dem Beitrag ausführlich dargestellt und analysiert. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | The question concerning the pedagogical and administrative effects of financial delegation plays an important role in the discussion about "school autonomy". The 1988 Education Reform Act in England introduced a decentralized management of schools: the schools thereby became responsible for their own budgets. The experiences which have been made with the new system in the meantime are described and analysed in detail in this article. (DIPF/Orig.) |
