| Abstract (German): | Der Autor möchte die Idee der Schulautonomie wieder in ihren politischen Zusammenhang stellen. Er erläutert, wer an der Diskussion beteiligt ist, welche Standpunkte es gibt, worum es bei der Reform geht und wie sich die Positionen mit der Zeit gewandelt haben. Desweiteren beschreibt er die Folgen der Deregulierung und Marktorientierung, die nach dem Vorbild der USA und Großbritanniens von einzelnen Bundesländern in Angriff genommen wird. Dabei hebt er die wachsende Chancenungleichheit vor allem für Minderheiten und Migrantenkinder hervor. (DIPF/Massar.) |
| Abstract (English): | The concentration on the micropolitics of schools and schoolboards within the debate on "school-autonomy" is held to be at risk of loosing the broader political context in which the discussion takes place. Starting from a remark Norbert Maritzen made (DDS 96/1) the author tries to identify the "blind spots" of the debate in the context of the current conflict on the social welfare state and pointing at the consequences of market steering for social equity especially of immigrant children.
