| Abstract (German): | In Beitrag werden methodologische Aspekte der TIMSS-Studien diskutiert. Auf der Basis einer qualitativen Analyse von TIMSS Aufgaben im Bereich Ökologie und einer Reanalyse der Schülerleistungen und Lösungshäufigkeiten werden die Kompetenzfestlegungen in diesem Bereich beurteilt. Das Modell der Didaktischen Rekonstruktion dient als theoretischer Rahmen der Analysen. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass diese Art von Analysen auch für andere Themenbereiche internationaler Studien wie TIMSS und PISA fruchtbar wären. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | This paper focuses on methodological issues of TIMS-Studies. Based on a qualitative analysis of TIMSS ecology related items and a re-analysis of students’ scores the kind of ecology conceptions assessed in TIMSS are investigated. The Model of Educational Reconstruction provides the theoretical frame for the analyses. The results indicate that such analyses would be also fruitful for other themes in TIMSS and in other international studies like PISA as well. (DIPF/Orig.) |
