| Abstract (German): | Die Autorinnen verdeutlichen anhand eines chronologischen Überblicks der Forschungsbefunde zu Schülervorstellungen, dass die Thematik Krieg in der Lebenswelt von Kindern zu allen Zeiten relevant ist. Sie schlagen für die Auseinandersetzung im Sachunterricht eine Thematisierung mit Hilfe von Bilderbüchern vor, die im Hinblick auf die Zielsetzungen fachdidaktisch zu analysieren sind. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | Wars and violent crises are visible to children in Germany in the media almost every day. Teaching peace skills in primary school has therefore become particularly important in recent years. In order to be able to talk to children about war and peace in Sachunterricht, fundamental questions must first be clarified, for example: How can war be conceptualised? How are violent crises and wars portrayed in the media? The article answers these questions in the form of an overview. The state of research on primary school children’s perceptions of war and peace since the 1960s is also presented and discussed. Subsequently, overarching didactic requirements and challenges are derived. (DIPF/Orig.) |
