| Abstract (German): | Diskriminierung, Mobbing und Rassismus sind zentrale Herausforderungen im schulischen Umfeld, die Schüler*innen, Eltern und Lehrkräfte betreffen. Der Text gibt eine grundlegende Orientierung zu diesen Themen und zeigt auf, dass sowohl individuelle als auch institutionelle Diskriminierung existieren. Während das Allgemeine Gleichbehandlungsgesetz (AGG) einen rechtlichen Schutz vor Diskriminierung bietet, sind die Regelungen auf Länderebene oft unzureichend. Besonders problematisch ist institutionelle Diskriminierung, die durch schulische Strukturen und Routinen ungleiche Bildungschancen schafft. Um dem entgegenzuwirken, braucht es transparente Beschwerdewege, Sensibilisierung sowie regelmäßige Fortbildungen für Lehrkräfte, damit Schulen zu einem diskriminierungsfreien Lernraum werden. | Abstract (English): | Discrimination, bullying and racism are key challenges in the school environment that affect pupils, parents and teachers. The text provides a basic orientation on these topics and shows that both individual and institutional discrimination exist. While the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) offers legal protection against discrimination, the regulations at state level are often inadequate. Institutional discrimination, which creates unequal educational opportunities through school structures and routines, is particularly problematic. In order to counteract this, transparent complaint channels, awareness-raising and regular training for teachers are needed so that schools become a discrimination-free learning space. |
