| Abstract (German): | In dieser Studie wird erstmals eine umfassende gesellschaftstheoretische Grundlegung einer Theorie und Didaktik des Globalen Lernens vorgelegt. Das Buch, dem die Habilitationsschrift des Verfassers (Universität Hannover, 2001) zugrunde liegt, bereitet hierfür die wichtigsten sozialwissenschaftlichen Ansätze der Globalisierungs- und Weltgesellschaftsforschung aus dem deutschen wie anglo-amerikanischen Sprachraum auf. Mit Blick auf die Widersprüche und Tendenzen in der weltweiten Bildungssituation entfaltet die Studie einen neuen Rahmen für die Agenda internationaler Bildungsforschung. (Autor) |
| Abstract (English): | This study presents the first comprehensive sociological foundation for a theory and didactics of Global Education. Based on the author's postdoctoral thesis (University of Hanover, 2001), the book examines the most important social science approaches to globalization and global society research. With a view to the contradictions and trends in the global education situation, the study develops a new framework for the agenda of international education research. (Author) |
