Abstract (German):Die Bewältigung der sozialökologischen Transformation ist eine globale wie gesamtgesellschaftliche Aufgabe. In Form einer Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung (BNE) wird sie operationalisierbar. Im formalen Bildungsbereich haben Bildungsorganisationen eine gestaltende Rolle und leisten einen entsprechenden Beitrag zur Förderung der Teilhabe und Mitwirkung im Transformationsprozess. Ein entsprechendes Bildungsmanagement ist dabei wesentlich. Im Beitrag werden auf Grundlage empirischer Befunde, Erfahrungen konkreter Projektumsetzungen, konzeptioneller Überlegungen und theoretischer Reflexionen Umsetzungen von BNE systematisch in den Handlungsebenen und Sinnhorizonten des Bildungsmanagements betrachtet, um so den Zusammenhang von Leadership (normative Makroebene, Bildungsorganisationen gestalten), strategischem (Mesoebene, Bildungsprogramme gestalten) und operativem Bildungsmanagement (Mikroebene, Bildungsprozessgestaltung) zu verdeutlichen und zu diskutieren. Abstract (English):Overcoming the socio-ecological transformation is a global and societal challenge. It can be operationalised in the form of education for sustainable development (ESD). In the formal education sector, educational organisations have a formative role and make a corresponding contribution to promoting participation and involvement in the transformation process. Appropriate educational management is essential for this. Based on empirical findings, experiences of concrete project implementations, conceptual considerations and theoretical reflections on the implementation of ESD, this article systematically examines the levels of action and meaningful horizons of educational management in order to clarify and discuss the relationship between leadership (normative macro-level, shaping educational organisations), strategic (meso-level, shaping educational programmes) and operational educational management (micro-level, shaping educational processes).
