Abstract (English):The chapter provides insights into a secondary school project. The author developed a program in which students learned the Ukulele in class and were invited to develop their own songs. The educational approach was based on a fairground concept that picks up characteristics of informal learning. Different fairground stalls focus on musical basics such as playing techniques and creative approaches which allowed the students to follow their own interests and needs on their way to playing the Ukulele and developing their own music. This article is part of the anthology European Perspectives on Music Education, Volume 13, addresses topics such as inclusive practices, the role of technology, and teacher education. (DIPF/Orig.)
