| Abstract (German): | Der Beitrag beschreibt überblicksartig den aktuellen Stand der Begabungsforschung und Talententwicklung im Rahmen historischer Entwicklungen und zukünftiger Perspektiven aus Sicht der Bildungswissenschaften. Hierbei werden zunächst psychologische Intelligenzkonzepte und Begabungsmodelle skizziert sowie pädagogische und gesellschaftliche Spannungsfelder der Begabungsforschung und Talententwicklung etwa im Kontext von inklusiver Begabungsförderung und Bildungsgerechtigkeit diskutiert. Darüber hinaus werden mit der transformativen Begabungsförderung und nachhaltigen Talententwicklung zukunftsorientierte Perspektiven für eine Neuausrichtung der Begabungsforschung und Talententwicklung erläutert. | Abstract (English): | This article provides an overview of the current state of research on giftedness and talent development in the context of historical developments and future perspectives from the view of educational science. It begins by outlining psychological concepts of intelligence and models of giftedness and discusses educational and social areas of tension in research on giftedness and talent development, for example in the context of inclusive gifted education and educational equity. In addition, future-oriented perspectives for a reorientation of research on giftedness and talent development are explained with transformative gifted education and sustainable talent development.
