| Abstract (German): | Die Bedeutung und die Verdienste von Franz Obert um die Lehrerfortbildung und Erneuerung des deutschen Schulwesens in Siebenbürgen in der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts ist das Thema des Beitrags. Obert kann als Beispiel eines Schulmanns gelten, der sich auf all seinen Wirkungsstufen mit Leib und Seele für die Lehrer und das Wohl der Schule in seiner Heimat eingesetzt hat: als Lehrer, als Lehrbuchautor, als Fortbildner, als Herausgeber einer für jene Zeit fortschrittlichen Fachzeitschrift "Schul- und Kirchenbote" und nicht zuletzt in seiner Funktion als Inspektor und Vorsitzender von Ausschüssen, wo er die "Schulordnung" und ihre Umsetzung in den Schule Siebenbürgens maßgeblich beeinflusst hat. Dabei hat er sich an deutschen Vorbildern orientiert, die er jedoch den heimischen Verhältnissen angepasst hat. Franz Obert beeindruckt durch die Aktualität und Modernität der vorgeschlagenen Lernziele, Unterrichtsprinzipien und methodischen Verfahren. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | The importance and the merits of Franz Obert in the fields of teacher training and innovation of the German school system in Transylvania in the second half of the 19th century is in the center of this article. Franz Obert is the example of a schoolman, which was involved in all the levels of his work for the improvement of school and teaching in his homeland: he was a teacher, textbook author, teacher trainer, author of the most modern pedagogical journal of his time, head of different commissions, where he could implement his modern ideas in all the schools of the German population in Transylvania.
