| Abstract (Deutsch): | Der Beitrag befasst sich auf der Grundlage einer im Jahre 2007 im Auftrag des Deutschen Entwicklungsdienstes (DED) durchgeführten Evaluation des regionalen Bildungsprogramms "Bildung trifft Entwicklung" mit dem Ansatz der partizipativen Evaluation. Nach einem Überblick über das evaluierte Programm und den Evaluationsauftrag sowie einem knappen theoretischen Exkurs werden die zentralen Schritte der praktischen Umsetzung dieses Ansatzes sowie sich dabei ergebende typische Herausforderungen und Chancen für einen partizipativen Evaluationsprozess aufgezeigt. | Abstract (Englisch): | In the country with the worldwide highest amount of votes on matters by the population it would be expected that the political education is strongly promoted by the state as well as the civil society. The article points out why after a long time an intense discussion on political education in schools has been on the way. Especially the developments towards the coordination of the Volksschule would offer a good opportunity to redefine the significance and the focussing of political education on one of the oldest democracies. In this important stage the lack of a national institution for political education is particularly noticeable. (DIPF/Orig.) |
