| Abstract (German): | Gesundheit ist zu einer Pflicht geworden. Ungesund zu leben, ist keine freie Entscheidung mehr, deren Konsequenzen der/die Einzelne selbst trägt. Die Autorin stellt in diesem essayistischen Fragment die Frage, wie es dazu kommen konnte. Sie schickt einen Kommissar auf die Suche nach einer Leiche, die aus der Gerichtsmedizin verschwunden ist. Wenn diese für den verdrängten Körper, das geraubte Leben steht, dann wäre die Zurückeroberung derselben die kriminologische Herausforderung unserer Zeit. Sie würde allerdings einen anderen Umgang mit dem Tod voraussetzen. Auf dieser Suche kann es sich lohnen, gemeinsam mit dem Kommissar eine Abendschule zu besuchen. Vielleicht finden wir dabei mehr Leben und eine neue Auffassung von Gesundheit. (DIPF/Orig.) |
| Abstract (English): | Health has become a duty. Living unhealthily is no longer a free decision whose consequences are borne by the individual. In this fragment of an essay, the author explores the question of how it has come to this. She sends a police inspector to search for a corpse that has disappeared from the forensic department. If this corpse stands for the repressed body, the life that has been stolen, then its reconquest is the criminological challenge of our time. It requires, however, another way of dealing with death. On this quest, it may be worthwhile to attend evening school with the inspector. Perhaps we will find more life and a new view of health there. (DIPF/Orig.) |
